NierAutomata Pic07.jpgDespite the game telling you about a few of these at various points of the story, we recommend you try not to do any of these things unless ABSOLUTELY necessary.Don't Uninstall the OS Chip Unless you want to see one of the joke endings early on or want to get every ending in the game later, don't uninstall the OS Chip that is in your inventory. Uninstalling the OS Chip for any reason will cause the game to end immediately and the joke ending to play.
At that point, any unsaved progress you had up to that point will be lost.Don't Purchase More Than One of the Same Chip Most of the chips you can buy from Shop Keepers won't stack their effects when you install them to your character. Only a select few of the Attack, Defense, and Support chips will be useful by having multiple installed at the same time, which will increase the effect they give. However, installing multiple chips that give and ability or HUD option won't have any additional effect and instead will just take up space within your install memory. To prevent wasting valuable money and memory space, make sure that the chips you purchase and install aren't ones you already have abilities for. Only do so with stat boosting chips that will boost effects when installed together.Do.
